Yesterday we were lucky to have Django visiting Severine Photography, Jacksonville pet photography studio; Django is a handsome 16 weeks English Bulldog. He is full of life and so friendly 🙂 He loves running between the shelves in the studio but was so well behaved during the session! We love pets photography in the studio!

As a portrait photographer, taking family photos really warms my heart. Capturing the unconditional love between a family is truly priceless.
Ann Marie and I met at UNF, where we worked together for three years. When Ann Marie asked me to take her family photos I was so ecstatic, she always talked about her amazing family and I was so happy to finally meet them. Ann Marie has a very endearing personality which really shines through her photos. Her boys were a delight to be around, they only agreed to take photos for half the session and they were off to play. They were really funny!
The natural lighting was perfect on the day of their photo session and the weather was beautiful.

Maria Estella’s pregnancy photos were taken on a beautiful morning at Jacksonville Beach, FL where the calming sounds of the sea and natural light from the sun makes for a perfect photo session, one of my favorite locations as a photographer. I’m sure baby Emma was kicking with excitement!
I was so excited when Maria Estella and Jesus asked me to shoot their pregnancy photos, as good friends of mine it was a pleasure being a part of this special moment. We met few years ago through Jesus’s brother who was studying with us. I saw the growth of their love, which carried into a prosperous wedding and then the conception of baby Emma .
We arrived early morning at Jacksonville Beach and Jesus wasn’t awake but the light was gorgeous and he finally agreed that it was the best time for pregnancy photos. We had the beach just for us! It’s always so funny seeing the guys half asleep, while the women are always so excited.
We had a blast playing with the sand and seeing the name of their baby girl written in the sand made them ecstatic.
Moments like these, make my job as a photographer very special because I get to share these milestones with my friends and clients when they book me. Please take the time to view the beautiful photos below.

Now, this is something to talk about! I was chosen as the photographer for Katie and Ian’s wedding in October at Winterbourne on the St Johns in Orange Park, Florida. Katie and Ian are the sweetest couple I have ever met, and their love for each other radiates. They were such a fun couple to get to know and to be around, I had a fun time as the photographer at their wedding.
This incredible wedding was designed by Katie and her mother Charlotte, they did an amazing job by adding their unique touch and really portraying the personalities and life of Katie and Ian as a couple.
Here is Katie & Ian’s story of how they met:
In the fall of 2007 Ian and I met through a mutual friend. After several months of being friends Ian tried to date me,
I continuously put him in the “friend zone”. Soon we lost contact and in 2009 Ian went on deployment while in the Navy. In September 2010 Ian returned from deployment and another mutual friend was responsible for us reuniting. Ian was stationed in Virigina upon his return and invited me to visit Washington D.C. Ian was still in the friend zone but with LOTS of persistance we soon became inseperable. Flying thousands of miles and racking up cell phone minutes we decided to have a long distance relationship for the next 2 years. On August 6, 2011 Ian surprised me by proposing. I was completly shocked when he slipped down to one knee in front of a hundred people. I was blown away and still remember the moment like it was yesterday.
