I absolutely loved Bethany & Patrick’s wedding at Sawgrass Marriott at Ponte Vedra, Florida. They are the most friendly couple you can dream about as a photographer.  They had a blast with their guests and the party was a huge success! The dance floor was full from the first song to the last minute! I was also impressed by their family; both parents are singers with beautiful voices. Bethany’s father sang for his dance with her daughter. I couldn’t resist and tired up.

Bethany had a gorgeous dress with one sleeve created with flowers and leaves. Gorgeous!

Courtney & Christopher’s wedding at Timuquana Country Club in Jacksonville Florida was beautiful. The weather was perfect and the spectacular view on the St.Johns river and downtown Jacksonville were a perfect background for the ceremony.

The white flowers of the arch and the aisle were beautiful and resisted perfectly the hot temperature! I love how the maids of honor dresses matches the color of the river and the color of the sky. I love the different shades of blue!

Kristin & Brett’s wedding at the Treaty Oak Park was stunning. It stopped raining at the minute we stepped out of the hotel with Kristin. I remember her telling me to not to worry because it would be perfect whatever happens. At the time, looking outside and seeing pouring rain I wasn’t sure that an outside ceremony was the way to go. Thankfully she was right and she followed it through. We even started to get some sun during the formal pictures!

The view of downtown Jacksonville from the River City Brewing Company is beautiful and sunset was a perfect time for few pictures 🙂

I was so happy to create beautiful family portraits for Ninekema and her family! We did it on an very important day; their mother’s birthday! I am so happy that they have beautiful family portraits to cherish for years to come.

Ninekema was my first client when I opened my studio and I have since recorded many memories for their family. It’s always a pleasure to see a family overtime and being part of the important moment of their life. I still remember the first time I saw Ninekema. It was at Lattitude 30 for her birthday and we had a blast!!! We got amazing pictures of her, her friends and her family but we also had tons of fun playing bowling!

Here is a beautiful poem by Cleo M. Shoffstall for her birthday

A Rose for Mother

Another Mother’s Day is here,
Bringing joy and pleasures new,
On this special day, Mother dear,
I want to remember you.

I cannot give you costly gifts,
And I’ve told you this before,
No matter what I give to you,
You give back much, much more.

I’am giving you a pure, sweet rose,
Gathered in the early morn,
This rose you planted in my heart,
The day that I was born.

In kindly, loving thoughts of you,
And with the faith you still impart,
The rose I give to you today,
Is the love that’s in my heart.

I am so excited for May Art Walk! I will show case my own personal work!!!  I will present the portrait photographs that I created for One Spark. This series represent my personal vision of Marie-Antoinette.

I took as inspiration old photographs of Marie-Antoinette and created a set to shoot in. It was set up in my studio during One Spark; some of you may have seen it. I had an amazing team working with me that day and I can’t thank them enough for their work! You can find HERE a post that I wrote about my project.   I will also showcase the amazing video that Visual Power did of the behind the scene of the shoot. The final portrait photographs are stunning and I can’t wait to show you those printed on Fine Art paper and framed 🙂  You will also have the option to buy some if you wish.

I am also super happy to have “We Care Jacksonville’s Young Professional group” in the studio to present their work. Here is a short paragraph from Diana Rosito member of the group: “We Care Jacksonville’s Young Professional group is excited to announce that for the first time we will have a booth at the Art Walk on May 7th. Come visit us at Severine Photography on the 8th floor of the Jacksonville Bank Building.

We Care Jacksonville provides primary and speciality care to the uninsured, the homeless, and the medically undeserved people of Jacksonville. The goal of the Young Professionals group Is to create awareness in the community, hosts fundraiser events to better assist with the health care needs of the community and create a network of young professionals who want to improve the health of the community.”

And finally as usual we will have the photobooth set up for some fun!!
