I remember when I met few weeks before the wedding with Britney and Dane that we talked about a back-up plan if it would rain on their Club Continental Wedding. Britney answered that raining on the wedding day was a sign of a happy happy life together! She had the same positive attitude on their wedding day and the day was absolutely perfect. It was one of the friendliest wedding I have never been! And it didn’t rain during the ceremony or the photographs 🙂
Britney wrote about how they met: “It all started in the Spring of 2006 while attending Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Dane played left tackle for the football team and Britney swam for the swim team. GO EALGES! Britney and Dane met through mutual friends, and during a night out, Britney and Dane realized that they were in the same class together. The following Monday, Britney changed seats to sit next to Dane. During this class, they became great friends – and little did they know what would soon flourish. Due to their competitive nature, Britney and Dane would race to grab the student paper and compete to finish the word search before class. Britney would usually win the word search – just don’t tell Dane.
In the Summer of 2006, Britney and Dane started to date. Britney graduated in the Fall of 2008 with Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies, and moved back to her home in Cumming, Georgia. Dane graduated in the Spring of 2009 with a Masters in Public Administration and moved back home to Jacksonville, Florida. Britney and Dane continued to have a long distance relationship until Britney moved to Jacksonville, Florida to be with Dane while he attended Florida Coastal School of Law.
Needless to say, it was worth the risk as Dane proposed to Britney on her 27th birthday. Dane put a considerable amount of thought into this ring because it is comprised of seven diamonds – one diamond for each year they had been together. All together now – awwwwww. ”
