Denisse and Jose wanted to go to the beach for their engagement pictures. The weather was beautiful with an amazing blue sky but the temperature was chilly in the middle of January. We had a wonderful time at the beach in Ponte Vedra; it was empty, almost a private beach! Later on, we moved to Jacksonville Beach to take some pictures with the pier and the city in background. I hardly had to give any direction during the afternoon, Denisse and Jose were natural and were just having fun in front of the camera.

Kristin is a fellow photographer and I was very honored when she asked me to be their photographer. We decided to meet at Fort Caroline for the first part of the shoot and then moved to a soccer field down the street. Kristin was playing soccer and loved soccer spirit! I can wait to shoot their wedding in September!

I’ve seen a lot of wedding photos. I am also an art teacher. Your pictures of Kristin’s wedding were exquisite and far above any others.

You really captured the emotion of each moment and Kristin’s personality. They were awesome!!!ReplyCancel

As first entry to my blog I want to feature a photoshoot I did in Punta Cana. After not seeing each other for more than one year, my sister and I decided that we should meet one week in the caribbean islands. These two beautiful girls are my nieces: Aude and Orane. I am so proud of them; they are so beautiful and so sweet! I love you girls and I miss you so much!

The funny one for the end…

It’s always hard to write about friends. Claudia, my husband, and I arrived in the US the same summer 5 years ago and we became friends in the school we all learned English. A few months later, she met Robbie at a party that the International Students Association organized at the University of North Florida. Since then, the four of us have been close friends and it’s with great pleasure that we did their engagement pictures at the beach where Robbie proposed. My husband, Jorge, was the second shooter that day. We are looking forward to being their photographers at their wedding this summer! They chose an amazing location: The brasserie in Jacksonville.

Stacy and Carlos have been my friends since I arrived in the US five years ago. Carlos was my classmates during all my English classes from the first level until we graduated. Stacy works at UNF and it’s not unusual that we spend our breaks chatting together about our Colombian husbands 🙂 I was so happy when Stacy asked me to take some pictures of them with Ethan, their handsome son. They are such a beautiful family!
